India also has some beliefs and standards tourists should abide by, these include: 1. Not wearing revealing clothing, 2. Do not wear shoes inside, 3. Do not eat with or pass objects with your left hand as it is considered unclean, 4. Don’t be over affectionate in public. Abiding by all these rules will allow the best chance at being a safe and respectful tourist.
